Custom dye | Ramie Fine Wool in DK
Introducing our exquisite yarn blend of 50% fine wool and 50% Ramie—a unique combination that marries the softness and warmth of wool with the durability and sheen of Ramie. Ramie, a cellulosic fiber made from the stalks of the Chinese Nettle plant, is akin to Linen, known for its strength, luster, and ability to hold its shape over time.
This yarn base offers an extraordinary knitting experience. The wool component ensures a cozy, soft texture, while the Ramie adds a touch of crispness and a slight sheen, making your stitches pop with definition. The blend balances elasticity with a firm hand, creating garments that are both warm and breathable, perfect for transitional weather.
Knitters will appreciate the smoothness of the yarn as it glides through the fingers, with just enough grip to keep stitches in place. The natural resilience of Ramie ensures that your projects will maintain their shape and structure, while the wool provides a gentle stretch for a comfortable fit.
Ideal for garments, accessories, and home decor, this yarn is perfect for those who value both form and function in their craft. Whether you're working on a lightweight sweater or a durable shawl, this blend will bring your creations to life with a unique texture and lasting quality.

Care Instructions
Gentle hand wash in cold water and dry flat under shade. Due to the nature of the dye, some bleeding may occur. Wash dark colors separately.
Each skein is unique. While they may be hand dyed in the same lot, the tones may vary from one skein to another.
As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from every couple of rows/ rounds (unless it is a one-skein project).
All fibres are hand washed, but due to the nature of the dye, some bleeding may occur. Recommended hand washing separately and lay flat to dry.
